Quality Engineer

ZT Systems is seeking a full-time Quality Engineer in Georgetown, Williamson County to lead manufacturing quality initiatives and drive operational excellence across our production facility. In this on-site role, you'll ensure product quality, mentor manufacturing teams, and contribute directly to process improvement and product design.

What This Role Involves

Your focus will be operational quality leadership—overseeing compliance, coaching production personnel to embrace quality ownership, and identifying systemic improvements that strengthen both our processes and our products. You'll collaborate with manufacturing teams, product engineering, and operations leadership to maintain the standards that define ZT Systems' reputation for reliable, high-quality equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities and compliance oversight in manufacturing operations
• Coach and guide manufacturing personnel on quality procedures, standards, and best practices
• Investigate, document, and escalate quality concerns with recommended corrective actions
• Partner with production and engineering teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions
• Contribute technical expertise to product design and manufacturing process reviews
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and recommend continuous improvements

Who We're Looking For

• Professional background in manufacturing quality engineering, process improvement, or quality assurance
• Solid knowledge of quality management systems, compliance standards, and manufacturing operations
• Proven ability to develop and motivate production teams and communicate quality expectations clearly
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and quality tools
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
