What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia management plans
- Administer general and regional anesthesia techniques with precision and safety
- Monitor patient hemodynamic parameters and oxygen saturation throughout operative procedures
- Manage acute postoperative pain and facilitate recovery protocols
- Coordinate care with surgeons, surgical nurses, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain availability for weekday and weekend pager call as scheduled
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in anesthesiology
- Valid, unrestricted medical license for Massachusetts
- Active experience in perioperative anesthesia management
- Strong clinical judgment and unwavering commitment to patient safety
- Professional collaboration skills and ability to integrate with existing surgical teams
- Reliability and responsiveness to scheduling and call responsibilities
Schedule Details
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekday and weekend pager call coverage. This full-time locums role provides consistent daytime hours combined with on-call availability as needed.
