Litigation Paralegal

Join Morgan & Morgan as a Litigation Paralegal in Arlington, Arlington County, and become part of a dedicated team fighting for consumer rights. In this full-time position, you'll support attorneys across our consumer advocacy practice, helping everyday Americans stand up to insurance companies, large corporations, and manufacturers of defective products.

What This Role Involves

As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll be the backbone of our case teams, managing documents, conducting legal research, and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel. You'll work on consumer protection cases, product liability claims, and personal injury litigation, handling the detailed work that keeps cases moving forward and clients informed throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize case documents, pleadings, discovery materials, and legal files
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to litigation matters
• Assist with document review, drafting, and organization for discovery processes
• Support attorneys in case preparation, depositions, and trial proceedings
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, document requests, and required actions
• Prepare legal documents, motions, and correspondence under attorney supervision
• Track deadlines, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics for case-related activities
• Support settlement negotiations and manage case-related administrative tasks

Who We're Looking For

• Paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with experience managing multiple concurrent cases
• Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and attorney interaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Understanding of civil litigation procedures and document management best practices
• Commitment to client service and the mission of consumer advocacy
