About the Role
Aequor is hiring an experienced Mammography Tech to fill a temporary assignment at a healthcare facility in Coos Bay, Coos County. You'll work day shift hours, 8 hours per day, in a clinical environment supporting diagnostic breast imaging services. This is a fully contracted position with a defined start date and duration, ideal for radiologic technologists seeking flexible travel assignments.
What You'll Do
- Operate digital and conventional mammography equipment with precision and patient safety as top priorities
- Position patients accurately to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort during examinations
- Assist radiologists and clinical staff with imaging workflow and equipment maintenance
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT certification or equivalent state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography
- Proven experience operating mammography equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient positioning techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical teams
- Reliable transportation in the Coos Bay area
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts as assigned
