Aequor is actively hiring a skilled Cath Lab Technician for an immediate travel assignment in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This is a full-time contract position offering $2,818 per week for 17 weeks of work with day shift hours in the Cochise County area.
About the Role
Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech on an active travel contract in Sierra Vista. You'll support a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing critical technical and clinical duties that directly impact patient care and procedural success. This is hands-on clinical work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your expertise drives day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare catheterization lab equipment and supplies for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiographies, and related interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and communicate clinical observations to the medical team
- Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control protocols in the laboratory environment
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment and ensure proper radiation safety practices
- Document procedures accurately and maintain complete patient records
- Respond quickly to procedural needs and anticipated equipment changes
What We're Looking For
- Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent cath lab credential
- Minimum 2+ years of active cath lab experience
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced clinical team
- Valid professional licensure as required by Arizona state regulations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for assignment work
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure

Contract duration: 17 weeks | Shift: Day shift, 8 hours | Pay rate: $2,818 per week | Start date: ASAP
