Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)

Join LifeStance Health as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) serving our Gedney office in Westchester County. We're seeking a dedicated, licensed clinician to deliver evidence-based behavioral healthcare to individuals, couples, and families in our outpatient practice. This is a full-time position for a therapeutic professional who prioritizes patient outcomes and clinical rigor.

About the Role

As an LMFT at LifeStance Health, you'll work in a collaborative outpatient environment where your therapeutic expertise directly impacts client wellbeing. You'll design and implement treatment plans while being part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality mental healthcare and supporting meaningful clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual therapy sessions addressing mental health concerns, emotional wellness, and life transitions
• Provide couples and marriage counseling using systemic and relational therapeutic approaches
• Lead family therapy sessions focused on communication patterns, conflict resolution, and relational health
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in our electronic health record system
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and evidence-based practice

What We're Looking For

• Current, active LMFT license in New York State
• Experience in outpatient mental health counseling or therapy settings
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse client populations
• Genuine commitment to delivering patient-centered behavioral healthcare
• Ability to function effectively within a collaborative healthcare team environment
