Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Behavioral Health – Direct Hire

Lighthouse Medical Staffing is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for our behavioral health team in Bethel, Alaska. This is a direct-hire, full-time position where you'll deliver evidence-based clinical services to individuals and families facing mental health and emotional wellness challenges in our community.

About the Role

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in behavioral health, you'll provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and care coordination within our integrated medical model. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and mental health specialists, you'll help clients navigate mental health challenges and build sustainable pathways to emotional wellness and stability.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based clinical interventions
• Collaborate with medical staff and behavioral health team members to coordinate integrated care
• Document clinical encounters, progress assessments, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
• Connect clients with community resources and social services to support recovery
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case consultations
• Support clients and families through crisis intervention and ongoing mental health support

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential or current eligibility for Alaska licensure
• Master's degree in Social Work or related clinical discipline
• Professional experience in behavioral health, community mental health, or clinical social work
• Proficiency with evidence-based therapeutic models and trauma-informed care practices
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess mental health risk and protective factors
• Excellent communication skills and cultural competency with diverse client populations
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare team environment
