About the Role

Uniti seeks a detail-oriented, organized Legal Secretary to support our legal department and broader business operations. You'll be the backbone of our legal team, managing documents, correspondence, and administrative tasks that keep our organization compliant and running smoothly. This role combines independent initiative with collaborative support for attorneys and business leadership.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, format, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and internal memoranda
• Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders
• Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical, with strict attention to confidentiality
• Assist with legal research and document review projects under attorney supervision
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements and deadlines
• Handle correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies
• Manage legal billing, invoices, and time tracking related to outside counsel
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the legal team

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar legal support role
• Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and standard office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Confidentiality awareness and professional discretion in handling sensitive information
• High school diploma or equivalent; paralegal certificate or legal assistant training preferred
• Familiarity with legal terminology, formatting standards, and industry practices
