Legal Assistant (Hybrid)

Gpac is hiring a Legal Assistant – Litigation in Sacramento, Sacramento County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support experienced attorneys on challenging, high-impact cases in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.

About the Role

As a litigation legal assistant, you'll manage the operational foundation of active case matters, working directly with attorneys to ensure cases move efficiently from intake through resolution. Your organizational expertise and legal knowledge will be essential in supporting client success and case outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal correspondence
• Manage case files, filing deadlines, and court documentation systems
• Coordinate client intake, communication, and case status updates
• Organize and schedule depositions, document reviews, and court hearings
• Conduct legal research to support attorney strategy and case analysis
• Track litigation calendars and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of litigation legal assistant experience
• Proficiency with legal document preparation and case management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a demanding environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal work
• Professional approach to client relations and team collaboration
