About the Role
We seek an accomplished Insurance Defense Attorney to join our experienced team. You will defend clients in complex litigation matters, working alongside seasoned litigators who handle high-stakes cases throughout California. This position offers the opportunity to build expertise in sophisticated legal defense work while contributing to a growing practice.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic legal defense for clients in insurance-related litigation across California
- Develop comprehensive defense strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients at depositions, hearings, trials, and settlement conferences
- Manage discovery processes, evidence review, and witness preparation
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable client outcomes
- Maintain organized case files and meet all court-imposed deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Active California law license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in insurance defense or complex commercial litigation
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical capabilities
- Strong oral advocacy and client communication skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple cases and competing deadlines
- Proficiency with legal research databases and case management technology
