WinnCompanies is hiring a Leasing and Occupancy Specialist I for Village at Lakeview Apartments, our 223-unit affordable housing community in Edgewood, Harford County. As a full-time member of our leasing team, you'll manage apartment rentals, resident services, and occupancy initiatives that keep our community thriving.

About the Role

The Leasing and Occupancy Specialist I position is central to our leasing operations at Village at Lakeview in Edgewood. You'll oversee the full resident lifecycle—from showing apartments and processing applications through move-ins, re-certifications, and lease renewals. This role combines marketing acumen, administrative precision, and genuine customer service to maintain high occupancy while upholding affordable housing standards.

What You'll Do

• Market available units and conduct apartment tours to prospective residents
• Process rental applications and verify income documentation per affordable housing requirements
• Complete lease paperwork, coordinate move-in inspections, and conduct new resident orientations
• Perform annual income re-certifications to ensure continued occupancy eligibility
• Handle lease renewal agreements and manage resident communications
• Maintain accurate occupancy records and prepare reports on leasing activity
• Address resident concerns and provide responsive, professional customer service
• Ensure all operations comply with fair housing laws and local regulations
