About This Position
As Property Manager I at West Deptford Rivercove Land, you'll oversee all aspects of community management for our 84-unit residential property in West Deptford. This role combines operational leadership, financial stewardship, and resident-focused service to ensure the community runs smoothly and meets owner objectives. You'll work at the intersection of business management and community care, managing everything from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic planning for the property.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily property operations, including maintenance coordination, vendor management, and facility upkeep across the 84-unit community
- Build and maintain occupancy through marketing initiatives, leasing efforts, and community visibility in the West Deptford area
- Manage lease administration, resident relations, and conflict resolution while maintaining professional, respectful interactions with all residents
- Oversee community finances, including budget preparation, expense tracking, and reporting to align with owner and company financial targets
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including fair housing laws, HUD guidelines, and property-specific regulatory requirements for senior and veteran housing
- Supervise and coordinate on-site staff, including maintenance and administrative personnel
- Respond to resident concerns and maintain a safe, well-maintained living environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; property management certification or college coursework a plus
- Proven experience in property management, residential management, or apartment community operations
- Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations applicable to residential communities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Proficiency with property management software and standard Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and produce accurate financial reports
- Professional communication skills and comfort engaging with diverse resident populations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
