About the Role
As a Lead Sales Associate at our Strawtown location, you'll take on a leadership role on the sales floor, combining strong customer service with team development. This is a hands-on position where you'll lead by example, support daily store operations, and help create an environment where customers feel welcomed and team members thrive.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers on the sales floor while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Model excellent customer service and help resolve customer concerns with professionalism
- Support team members through mentoring and feedback, helping newer associates learn our products and processes
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and securely
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain compliance with company standards
- Participate in opening and closing store procedures as assigned
- Support loss prevention and security protocols
- Fulfill age-verification responsibilities for restricted products as required by law
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven customer service experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively with the public
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to mentor and support fellow team members
