Associate Project Manager

Position Summary

The Associate Project Manager role at Qualus offers hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of electric utility projects from planning through delivery. Working within our Project Management Organization, you'll collaborate with engineering, design, permitting, and construction professionals to ensure projects advance efficiently, remain within approved scope, meet established schedules, and stay on budget. This position provides mentorship and real-world exposure to utility infrastructure project delivery—ideal preparation for a long-term career in project management.

Core Duties

• Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with project leads
• Support engineering and design coordination to maintain technical alignment across project phases
• Monitor project expenditures and help track financial performance against approved budgets
• Participate in site evaluations and coordinate permitting activities for utility infrastructure projects
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, maintain records, and prepare stakeholder communications
• Identify and escalate project risks, scheduling conflicts, or scope challenges to management

• Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
