Ramboll, a global engineering and design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer and Design Team Lead for a full-time, remote role based from London. This position offers the opportunity to lead technical delivery on complex, large-scale infrastructure projects whilst advancing engineering innovation and team excellence.

The Opportunity

As Design Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of ambitious, multi-disciplinary infrastructure initiatives. This remote role provides strategic leadership across design phases, from concept through delivery, with responsibility for technical direction, quality assurance, and coordinating cross-functional teams. You'll engage with senior stakeholders, navigate challenging technical problems, and establish engineering standards that define outcomes on significant programmes across the region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering design teams through complex mega-project delivery phases
  • Oversee technical strategy, design standards, and quality control across multiple concurrent initiatives
