Pennoni is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in Camden County, New Jersey for a full-time position. You'll collaborate on multi-disciplinary site design and site development projects, supporting our engineering professionals on both public and private sector work.
About the Role
As a Graduate Civil Engineer at Pennoni's Camden, NJ office, you'll gain hands-on experience in professional civil engineering while contributing meaningfully to live projects. You'll work directly alongside experienced engineers and project managers, learning industry best practices while taking on real responsibilities in site design, permitting support, and project coordination.
What You'll Do
- Support senior engineers and project leads on site development and design projects serving both public and private clients
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering teams working on site design, infrastructure, and development projects
- Assist with project deliverables including design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Participate in site visits, surveys, and field coordination as part of active projects
- Learn and apply civil engineering principles to real-world project scenarios
- Collaborate across disciplines including surveying, environmental, and structural engineering
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or recent graduate)
- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and site design fundamentals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables
- Proficiency with standard engineering software and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and grow within a professional engineering firm
