About This Position

Continental is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our engineering team in Eisenstadt. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service vehicle systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Continental's rigorous quality benchmarks. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and vehicle subsystems
• Test and verify repairs using diagnostic equipment and specialised tools
• Document work performed and maintain accurate technical records
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and best practices throughout all operations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the service department

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship or formal qualification as an automotive technician (KFZ-Techniker)
• Proven experience diagnosing and servicing automotive systems
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical, engine, transmission, and brake systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting ability
• Fluency in German; English language skills are beneficial
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
