About This Position
In this role, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, developing tailored strategies to unlock renewals and expansion within your book of business. You'll partner closely with client executives to understand their deposit origination and digital banking objectives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who delivers measurable value. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping customers realize the full potential of our platform while achieving growth targets aligned with customer needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Formulate comprehensive account strategies, conduct whitespace analysis, and create forecasts to guide business planning and opportunity identification
- Master our product suite and articulate its capabilities to clients; identify customer needs and cross-sell solutions that expand existing partnerships
- Facilitate high-level commercial discussions and guide contracts through completion to ensure mutual success
- Establish a consistent engagement cadence; conduct regular business reviews and serve as the primary contact for opportunities, issues, and strategic questions
- Monitor customer health metrics and proactively address risks that could jeopardize renewals
- Extract and analyze customer data to uncover insights; present findings and recommendations to guide strategic planning
- Collaborate across product, sales, support, and operations teams to optimize customer experience and identify enhancements that drive retention
- Manage issue escalation and resolution; coordinate with technical teams to ensure customer success
- Lead platform implementations with customers and coordinate timeline and milestone planning
- Support new customer launches in partnership with implementation specialists
- Deliver ongoing product training and create resources to accelerate customer adoption and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of account management experience with proven success managing the complete renewal sales cycle and delivering accurate forecasts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt messaging and approach to different audiences and business contexts
- Strong analytical capabilities including the ability to interpret data, develop business review presentations, and surface opportunities or pain points
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across departments and thriving in team-oriented, cross-functional environments
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work autonomously while managing competing demands
- Resilient under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities and solid decision-making instincts
- Comfortable navigating dynamic, fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- Banking or fintech industry background preferred
