About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Central London. This is a client-facing role where you'll be embedded within our client's team, driving data-informed decision-making through A/B testing, statistical analysis, and enterprise business intelligence solutions.
This hybrid position requires 3-4 days per week on-site in the Euston area of Central London. You'll need strong autonomy and initiative as you work directly with stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to measure product and feature performance
- Apply statistical methods to ensure test validity and generate actionable insights
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders
- Design, build, and optimize semantic data models in Power BI for self-service analytics
- Develop and maintain high-performance Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
- Partner with data engineering teams to define and validate data pipelines
- Ensure seamless integration between data sources and BI platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Implement best practices in data governance, performance optimization, and security
- Monitor and resolve data quality, integrity, and dashboard performance issues
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and semantic data models
- Strong capability in experimental design, A/B testing methodologies, and statistical inference
- Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and data manipulation
- Python proficiency for data analysis and automation (pandas, numpy, scipy)
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration tools, and modern data platforms such as Databricks
- Proven ability to transform complex data into clear, compelling visual narratives
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated autonomy and ability to work independently in client environments
