IT Operations Engineer – Corporate IT

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential distributed ledger technology organization that is scaling rapidly and building enterprise-grade infrastructure. Our talent team is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to strengthen internal systems, identity management, and operational efficiency across a growing SaaS and cloud ecosystem.

This is a remote role open to candidates in Argentina, Canada, and the United States.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design and operate scalable infrastructure across cloud and internal systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Own and evolve identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and lifecycle automation
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD enablement
• Administer and optimize core SaaS platforms such as Atlassian, Salesforce, and NetSuite, ensuring strong integrations and access governance
• Strengthen security posture through vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening
• Partner cross-functionally with Security, HR, and Engineering to support onboarding, compliance, and system integrations

Success in the first 6-12 months looks like:

• IAM fully standardized and automated with SSO, MFA, and RBAC consistently implemented
• Security risk materially reduced through controlled vulnerability backlog and consistent patching
• SaaS and infrastructure systems operating smoothly with reduced incidents and well-documented environments
• Increased operational efficiency via automation and CI/CD adoption

What We're Looking For

Core capabilities:

• Strong systems and cloud engineering fundamentals across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven experience designing and managing IAM systems (SSO, MFA, RBAC, lifecycle management)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Security-first mindset with experience in vulnerability management and system hardening
• Ownership mentality with the ability to independently drive systems and improvements

Functional expertise:

• Infrastructure and systems engineering across Linux-based environments
• Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• SaaS administration and integrations (Atlassian, Salesforce, NetSuite or similar)
• Monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting distributed systems

Nice to have:

• Exposure to web3 or blockchain ecosystems
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background contributing to open-source projects or building mature DevOps practices
