About the Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at SAF, you'll be responsible for the hands-on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems that keep our foundry operations running smoothly. You'll work independently and collaboratively to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance while adhering to established maintenance schedules and company protocols.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, hydraulic systems, and industrial equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and execute repairs with precision
- Follow maintenance schedules and document all service activities
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime
- Identify equipment wear and recommend preventive measures
- Operate and maintain equipment as needed to support foundry operations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or related field
- Strong mechanical and basic electrical aptitude
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment schematics
- Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred
