Collier County Public Schools is hiring School Age Child Care Student Workers for Vineyards Elementary's before and after school program. This full-time position is perfect for high school students aged 18 and older looking to gain meaningful experience working with elementary-age children in a safe, supportive environment.
About the Role
As a student worker in our School Age Child Care (SACC) program, you'll support children during before and after school hours. Child safety is our highest priority, and you'll be essential to maintaining a secure, welcoming space where kids can play, learn, and thrive outside the regular school day.
What You'll Do
- Oversee children's activities during play time, prioritizing supervision and safety
- Lead or assist with academic support and enrichment programming that sparks curiosity and learning
- Participate in structured activities, games, and recreational opportunities suited to elementary-age development
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel valued
- Support program routines and work collaboratively with the SACC team
What We're Looking For
- Currently attending high school
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to child safety
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with and supporting young learners
- Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule
- Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
