This full-time position offers the independence of working as a claims adjuster while serving a growing client base across Eastern North Carolina. As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be the trusted representative evaluating property damage, guiding claimants through the claims process, and ensuring fair and timely settlements. This role combines field investigations with detailed documentation and direct communication with customers who depend on your expertise.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess damage and determine coverage
• Interview policyholders and gather documentation to establish claim facts and verify coverage details
• Analyze insurance policies to interpret coverage provisions and policy limits
• Prepare detailed written reports documenting findings, estimates, and settlement recommendations
• Communicate professionally with all parties—insureds, insurers, contractors, and medical providers—throughout the claims lifecycle
• Meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity

What We're Looking For

• Valid North Carolina insurance adjuster license (or ability to obtain one)
• Proven field investigation experience and knowledge of property damage assessment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
