Lyra Health is a workplace mental health company founded in 2015. Recent coverage includes manager coaching to cut organizational burnout, partnerships discussing workplace mental health data with NAMI, and a Nasdaq opening-bell appearance.
Lyra Health, in partnership with Lyra Clinical Associates, is hiring a Mental Health Therapist – Telehealth (Unrestricted License LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to deliver evidence-based virtual care to clients across the United States. If you are an independently licensed clinician who values continuous learning and a feedback-rich culture, this telehealth therapist role was built for you.
About the Role
As a Lyra Care Therapist, you'll provide short-term, evidence-based treatment through live video as part of Lyra Care Therapy — a program that pairs real-time sessions with between-session digital psychoeducation and customizable skill-building tools. You'll support a varied caseload, assign digital lessons and assessments to reinforce learning, and track outcomes between visits, all while working remotely within the U.S. from your home or preferred setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver short-term, evidence-based therapy (such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT) via live video to adult and/or adolescent clients.
- Maintain a clinical caseload spanning mild to complex and severe presentations (up to 30 bookable calendar spots).
- Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to enhance client progress and monitor results.
- Provide culturally responsive care attuned to each client's background and unique needs.
- Manage risk and respond to clinical crises as needed.
- Participate in one-on-one and peer group consultations, peer-based quality assurance reviews, and ongoing clinical training.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
- Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license allowing independent practice, with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
- Commitment to evidence-based treatment and clinical best practices, including measurement-based care.
- Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
- Comfort with live video and computer tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Doxy.me, Skype); prior telehealth experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in an evolving, fast-growing environment.
