About the Role

As a Governance & Standards Lead within Deloitte's Finance Operate and Finance Transformation practice, you'll partner with CFOs, senior finance executives, and client leadership to tackle their most demanding operational challenges. Drawing on Deloitte's extensive resources and sector knowledge, you'll design forward-thinking, market-informed solutions that strengthen finance functions, raise performance, and establish the governance frameworks that keep them running smoothly. This is an on-site role based in Portland, Multnomah County.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and uphold governance models, controls, and operating standards across client finance functions.
• Advise CFOs and finance leaders on transforming and modernizing their finance operations.
• Lead the delivery of tailored, innovative solutions that improve efficiency and measurable outcomes.
• Translate complex business needs into practical, sustainable processes and frameworks.
• Guide and mentor team members while managing the quality and consistency of engagement deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance transformation, finance operations, or related management consulting.
• Strong command of governance, standards, controls, and finance process design.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs.
• Leadership capability suited to a manager-level role, including team and project oversight.
• Willingness to work on-site in Portland, Multnomah County.
