About the Role
As HR Administrator at Messina Hof Wine Cellars, you'll partner with our HR Generalist to keep our people operations running smoothly across our vineyard and winery. Working in a dynamic hospitality and wine production environment, you'll handle the core HR functions that enable our team to thrive and deliver the genuine hospitality our guests expect.
What You'll Do
- Support hiring, new employee orientation, and offboarding procedures
- Manage employee records, benefits files, and HR information systems
- Coordinate with payroll and assist with compliance documentation
- Prepare employment verification letters and other HR paperwork
- Organize HR communications, training initiatives, and team events
- Help maintain and update company policies and employee resources
- Assist with work scheduling and staffing coordination
- Process travel and related documentation as schedules require
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; HR experience or business education preferred
- Background in HR operations, administrative support, or HRIS systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR databases
- Willingness to work a varying schedule
- Commitment to supporting and respecting your colleagues
