Higher Education Account Executive – Midwest/Great Lakes

About the Role

As a Higher Education Account Executive, you'll be the trusted advisor for education institutions seeking payment technology, learning management systems, and education services solutions. You'll manage a portfolio of accounts spanning the Midwest and Great Lakes, developing strategic relationships with decision-makers at colleges and universities of all sizes. This is a hunter-focused sales role where you'll own territory development, identify new business opportunities, and guide institutions toward solutions that enhance their operational efficiency and student experience.

What You'll Do

• Build and expand relationships with higher education institutions across your Midwest and Great Lakes territory
• Identify institutional needs and recommend tailored payment processing, learning management, and education service solutions
• Develop and execute territory account plans to achieve revenue targets and grow account penetration
• Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers at educational organizations
• Present product capabilities and ROI value to college administrators, finance teams, and academic leaders
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure smooth implementation transitions with new clients
• Maintain pipeline discipline and accurate sales forecasting throughout the quarter

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in business-to-business sales, preferably within education, technology, or financial services
• Understanding of the higher education landscape, institutional priorities, and buyer decision structures
• Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to diagnose needs and build solutions around them
• Territory management and account development experience with demonstrated quota attainment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivation and ability to drive results with minimal day-to-day oversight
• Willingness to travel within your Midwest and Great Lakes territory as needed
