ZOLL Medical seeks a Senior Contract Administrator to support our organization in the United States. In this full-time role, you'll oversee commercial contracts from inception through execution, ensuring they meet our compliance standards and organizational requirements while supporting seamless operations across departments.

What This Role Involves

You'll serve as a critical operational hub, stewarding commercial agreements while coordinating with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT. This position manages contracts through their entire journey—from initial creation through amendment, renewal, and closure—while maintaining integrity within our contract management platforms. Your attention to detail and analytical thinking will directly support our ability to execute agreements correctly, mitigate legal exposure, and maintain regulatory alignment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare, evaluate, and oversee commercial agreements, including primary contracts, amendments, and contract extensions
  • Guide contracts through their complete operational cycle, verifying each element meets our standards for accuracy, compliance, and governance
  • Administer contract information within Salesforce and contract management systems, safeguarding data quality and completeness
  • Process contract modifications, including scope changes, price adjustments, and updated terms across our agreement portfolio
  • Apply critical reasoning to surface contractual risks, language gaps, and workflow inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contracts reflect company requirements and appropriately manage exposure
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams on pricing requirements, quoting support, billing coordination, and financial reporting
  • Coach internal teams on contract procedures, system navigation, and operational guidelines
  • Juggle multiple contract matters and deadlines while maintaining strong organizational discipline
  • Assess contract processes to pinpoint barriers and recommend operational improvements
  • Champion standardized contract language and document version management
  • Synthesize contract details, risks, and progress into clear executive briefings
  • Communicate with colleagues and external contacts to address contract questions and advance agreements to completion

Qualifications

  • Operational experience with Salesforce or alternative platforms for managing contract lifecycles
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management methodologies and processes
  • Professional background in legal departments, contract operations, or paralegal roles (highly valued)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel
  • Comfortable reading and drafting legal contract language
  • Ability to function independently while contributing effectively across departments
  • Demonstrated facility with cross-functional communication and relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or allied field; equivalent career experience considered
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in contract administration, legal operations, or contract-related functions
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector experience valued
