The Just One Project seeks a full-time Grant Writer in North Las Vegas, Clark County to advance our mission of expanding access to food, resources, and supportive services throughout our community.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant funding opportunities aligned with our strategic priorities
• Develop and write compelling grant proposals, narratives, and supporting documentation
• Manage grant application timelines, deadlines, and submission requirements
• Collaborate with program leadership to gather program data and outcome information for proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with foundation officers and funding partners
• Create project budgets and budget narratives that support grant applications
• Track grant awards, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations
• Maintain organized records of all funding sources and application status
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders about funding progress and opportunities

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience writing grant proposals for nonprofit or community organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency with research and grant databases
• Detail-oriented approach to meeting strict deadlines and requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
• Understanding of nonprofit funding landscape and grant mechanisms
• Familiarity with data collection and program evaluation concepts
