About This Position

Continental is seeking a detail-oriented and multilingual accounts payable professional to join its TABS (Tires Accounting Business Service) team based in Timișoara. You will handle financial transactional work for Continental's tire accounting operations, serving as a key member of the accounting team. Your fluency in German is essential, as you'll communicate regularly with German-speaking stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. This remote role allows you to contribute to Continental's global accounting infrastructure while maintaining work flexibility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and reconcile accounts payable invoices and payment documentation
• Manage vendor communications and resolve billing inquiries, with a focus on German-speaking suppliers and stakeholders
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures
• Maintain detailed records and databases for payable transactions and supplier accounts
• Perform monthly reconciliations and variance analysis to support financial reporting
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and international teams to clarify invoice discrepancies
• Support audit and compliance requirements for TABS financial records

Skills & Qualifications

• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken); English proficiency required
• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles
• Strong command of accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial data management tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately
• Capability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting
• Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent professional experience preferred
