Continental is seeking a Car Dealer Specialist for our Sales department in Shanghai, CN. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive automotive solutions and build strong relationships with dealership partners in one of Asia's most dynamic automotive markets.
What This Role Involves
As a Car Dealer Specialist at Continental, you'll be the key liaison between our global automotive technology and solutions portfolio and dealership partners across the Shanghai region. Your focus will be on understanding dealer needs, presenting relevant vehicle systems and components, and supporting dealer success through expert guidance and collaborative problem-solving.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with automotive dealers, understanding their business objectives and operational needs
- Present Continental's automotive technologies, components, and solutions to dealership decision-makers
- Identify sales opportunities aligned with dealer inventory, customer base, and service capabilities
- Support dealer sales teams with technical product knowledge and market insights
- Track dealer feedback and market trends to inform Continental's strategic approach in the Shanghai region
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve dealer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
- Contribute to sales targets and dealer retention within your assigned territory
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales, dealer relations, or business development
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle systems, and dealer operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust with key decision-makers
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to manage multiple dealer relationships and meet sales objectives
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, business, or related field
- Willingness to travel within the Shanghai region as needed
