Full Desk Recruiter

Lydia Home Association is seeking a Full Desk Recruiter in Kilbourn Park, Chicago to manage our complete recruitment process. In this full-time, in-location role, you'll own the end-to-end hiring cycle for both Lydia Home Association and Safe Families for Children, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding.

Role Overview

As our Full Desk Recruiter, you'll manage all phases of talent acquisition, working directly with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and deliver qualified candidates. You'll create a seamless, professional experience for every candidate and hiring manager you collaborate with, ensuring our organizations attract and retain top talent aligned with our mission.

Your Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates across multiple channels and platforms
• Coordinate the full recruitment cycle from job requisition through offer and onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build candidate pipelines
• Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain candidate tracking, recruiting metrics, and hiring reports
• Ensure professional, timely communication with all candidates throughout the hiring process
• Manage offer negotiations and facilitate candidate onboarding

Requirements

• Proven full-desk recruiting experience in a dynamic environment
• Strong sourcing skills across active and passive recruitment methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent job searches
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
• Proficiency in candidate assessment and cultural fit evaluation
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
