This is a project-based, freelance engagement with opportunities for ongoing collaboration on regional and international research initiatives.

We're looking for detail-oriented professionals with strong commercial acumen to support market analysis projects across diverse industries. If you have experience conducting secondary research, retail audits, and trade interviews, we encourage you to apply through our platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research into industries, companies, and consumer trends
• Execute store visits and retail audits to gather brand and product information
• Carry out cold calls and trade interviews with companies and industry associations to extract qualitative and quantitative insights
• Perform data analysis, calculations, and market sizing estimations
• Interpret research findings to develop clear, structured business insights and actionable recommendations
• Prepare client-ready deliverables including written analyses, presentations, databases, and reports

Note: Assignments may vary by project and may not include all tasks listed above.

What We're Looking For

• Professional fluency in English for clear written and verbal business communication (local language proficiency is an added advantage)
• Exceptional numeracy skills with ability to interpret, cross-reference, and analyze data from diverse sources
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to support project tasks
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines in a remote working environment
• Prior experience in market research or consulting is highly desirable, with exposure to research methodologies such as:
  • Trade interviews (demonstrated cold-calling experience is advantageous)
  • Store visits, audits, and retail checks
  • Report writing
  • Desk research
