In this full-time position, you'll serve as a strategic finance leader embedded within our enterprise go-to-market organization, driving financial decisions for our fastest-growing customer segment in the AI industry.

The Opportunity

This role positions you at the center of Anthropic's commercial expansion. You'll work closely with go-to-market leadership to transform financial analysis into strategic recommendations, focusing on our enterprise technology customers. Your insights will directly influence decisions about resource allocation, sales organization scaling, and deal evaluation. You'll navigate the unique financial landscape of a rapidly expanding AI business serving large technology customers and help chart the course for sustainable growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise go-to-market teams on financial strategy and resource deployment with deep insight into company finances and commercial objectives
• Own revenue forecasting and target-setting for consumption-driven models, translating usage patterns, committed volumes, and new product launches into actionable plans
• Coordinate with strategic finance, financial planning & analysis, and accounting functions to align commercial initiatives with overall financial strategy
• Design and validate sales staffing plans and incentive compensation structures to support sustainable scaling
• Deliver executive-level analysis that explains trends, identifies drivers, and recommends actions
• Build financial dashboards and reporting infrastructure that enable the organization to operate efficiently, leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical productivity

What We're Looking For

You bring experience in strategic finance, go-to-market finance, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, management consulting, or investment banking. You understand consumption and usage-based business models—their forecasting, unit economics, and deal mechanics. You've built financial operating models that executives relied on for headcount, targets, and investment decisions. You're comfortable extracting and analyzing data using SQL or equivalent tools and enthusiastic about leveraging AI to amplify your work. You excel at structuring undefined problems and driving them to resolution under tight deadlines.

You possess strong analytical capabilities and can synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives. You work effectively across departments, translating financial concepts for non-financial colleagues. You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and adapt readily to change. You demonstrate a results-oriented approach with strong execution discipline and a track record of delivering outcomes under pressure. Preferred Experience: 7+ years in strategic finance or go-to-market finance, or prior roles in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or growth equity. GTM finance business partnership experience. A combination of 3+ years in strategic finance with additional time in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking. Strategic finance background at high-growth cloud, infrastructure, or consumption-priced businesses such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Datadog, MongoDB, Confluent, or Twilio. Background in enterprise deal desk, large commercial commitments, or complex pricing negotiations. Sales compensation or quota design experience. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or related technical fields.
