About the Role

As an Excavator Operator with MCC, Inc., you'll operate heavy excavation equipment on active job sites throughout the area, managing complex tasks that require mechanical skill, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to workplace safety. What You'll Do

• Safely operate excavators and related heavy equipment on construction and excavation sites
• Navigate job sites while maintaining awareness of traffic patterns, equipment placement, and potential hazards
• Work competently around electrical lines, gas lines, and other underground utilities
• Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to designated work locations as needed
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and site managers throughout each project
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues or concerns
• Maintain strict adherence to all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience operating excavators and heavy construction equipment
• Current, valid operator's license and any required heavy equipment certifications or licenses
• Solid understanding of jobsite safety practices and hazard identification
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a construction team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
