What This Role Involves
The Estimator is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, defensibility, and profitability of all commercial plumbing estimates produced by the organization. This role functions as a core revenue-generation and margin-protection position, responsible for converting qualified bid opportunities into disciplined, competitive, and executable proposals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze project scope, materials, labor, and other costs to develop competitive bids.
- Ensure all estimates are defensible against potential challenges from clients or competitors.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure proposals align with company goals.
- Contribute to the overall profitability of projects by optimizing cost structures.
What We're Looking For
