About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an Electrical Design Specialist for a short-term contract project. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is managing the full recruitment process for this remote position based in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate electrical designs based on technical requirements and system performance
- Design and review electrical systems, circuits, and components, including distribution systems and control panels
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Perform electrical calculations such as load flow, voltage drop, and short-circuit analysis
- Evaluate design alternatives and identify potential design issues or improvements
- Review and validate designs against project requirements and engineering standards
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Hands-on industry experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or Electrical Engineer
- Strong understanding of electrical system design and engineering principles
- Practical experience in designing or evaluating electrical systems
- Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems and power distribution
- Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or Revit
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or professional engineering certification
- Experience with power system studies and specifying and sizing transformers and switchgear
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards like IEC, IEEE, or NEC
