Position Summary
Rust-Oleum is seeking a strategic, business-focused leader to serve as Director, User & Market Insights. This role will lead the development and execution of insight strategies that drive profitable growth by providing actionable insights for product innovation and market expansion.
What You'll Do
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends in user behavior and market dynamics
- Develop and implement comprehensive market research plans to inform product development and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment on insights-driven strategies
- Create compelling presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive up to 15-20% travel for market research and client meetings
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in user insights, market research, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experienced in developing and implementing robust market research methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
