Role Overview
Hatch in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) is seeking a Head, Scouting & Insights to lead the unit and drive strategic insights for public safety and homeland security opportunities. This role involves overseeing concept development, trend analysis, startup engagement, due diligence, and technical validation to ensure high-quality outputs for Mission Partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the scouting and insights unit to identify and evaluate emerging technologies in public safety and homeland security.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities through thorough market research and trend analysis.
- Engage with startups, investors, and industry partners to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments or partnerships, ensuring alignment with TECHX VENTURES PTE. LTD.’s mission and strategic goals.
- Provide technical validation of new technologies and solutions to support decision-making processes.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology scouting, insights, or a related field with a focus on public safety and homeland security.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and build cross-functional teams.
- Deep technical familiarity and understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the public safety and homeland security sectors.
- Experience in due diligence, startup engagement, and concept development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights effectively.
