About the Role

This role provides hands‑on assistance and encouragement to residents as they develop daily living skills, pursue personal goals, and participate in community activities. You will work as part of a collaborative team that values dignity, respect, and individualized support.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with personal care routines such as grooming, dressing, and medication management.
• Support skill‑building activities including meal preparation, budgeting, and recreational planning.
• Facilitate community outings and help residents maintain connections with family and friends.
• Document progress, observe behavioral changes, and communicate observations to supervisors and clinical staff.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment by following health and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in human services, psychology, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or a residential setting is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals.
• Reliability, flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records and completing required documentation.
• Commitment to upholding the rights and preferences of the people we serve.
