What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine problems using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
- Perform scheduled maintenance including fluid changes, filter replacements, belt inspections, and system checks
- Repair and replace engine components, fuel injection systems, cooling systems, and transmission parts
- Conduct performance testing to ensure engines and systems operate within specification
- Document all work completed, parts installed, and service hours in maintenance records
- Communicate with customers regarding findings, service recommendations, and estimated repair timelines
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engine systems and heavy equipment
- Hands-on proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
- ASE certification, technical diploma, or equivalent diesel mechanics training
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
