Novartis is seeking a full-time Dermatology Territory Account Specialist to drive clinical engagement and grow key dermatology accounts across the Glendale and Bakersfield, California territory within Los Angeles County.
About the Role
As a field-based Territory Account Specialist (TAS) on the Novartis dermatology team, you will own a defined geographic territory spanning Glendale through Bakersfield, building deep, trust-based relationships with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and office decision-makers. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, translating clinical science into meaningful conversations that support patient outcomes and business growth.

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives within the Glendale / Bakersfield geography
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with targeted dermatology practices, health systems, and key opinion leaders
- Deliver compelling, science-driven presentations on Novartis dermatology products, grounded in current clinical evidence and aligned with approved messaging
- Identify patient access challenges and connect prescribers with appropriate reimbursement, patient support, and market access resources
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with medical science liaisons, market access teams, and marketing to deliver cohesive account support
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, territory insights, and pipeline activity within CRM systems
- Represent Novartis at local and regional dermatology events, speaker programs, and medical conferences
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; life sciences or business discipline preferred
- Demonstrated success in pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty sales — dermatology experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific data to diverse healthcare audiences
- Strong business acumen with a track record of territory planning, prioritization, and account management
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills with an ability to build credibility quickly
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
