Floating Maintenance Technician

As a Floating Maintenance Technician with Cornerstone Residential, you will support multiple apartment communities throughout the Boise and Ada County area, stepping in wherever skilled hands are needed most. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance across assigned residential communities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Complete service requests promptly while delivering courteous, professional interactions with residents.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupancy through turn work, repairs, and general upkeep.
• Travel between properties as scheduled to provide coverage and balance workloads across locations.
• Maintain safe, clean common areas and grounds, reporting larger issues to community management.
• Document completed work and track parts, supplies, and equipment accurately.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience, ideally within multifamily, residential, or commercial property settings.
• Working knowledge of general repair trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance servicing.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, since this role floats between communities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting daily priorities.
• A customer-focused attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members.
