About the Role
We are seeking dedicated drivers with at least six months of CDL-A experience to join our team as Dry Van Company Drivers. As a member of Hogan Transports, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes in the region. This is a full-time position that requires no remote work.
What You'll Do
- Drive dry van trucks to deliver freight to specified locations
- Ensure all loads are secured properly before departure
- Follow traffic laws and company policies while on the road
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates and customer inquiries
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- A minimum of six months of CDL-A experience in over-the-road operations
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- Prior trucking industry experience is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatch
