Position Summary
We are seeking experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for our Over-the-Road (OTR) Dry Van operations with U.S. Xpress - OTR. This role offers a sign-on bonus and competitive weekly pay. Solo drivers can expect to earn between $1,200 and $1,730 per week, while the top 20% of our OTR drivers earn up to $1,725 per week on average.
Core Duties
- Drive dry van trucks for long-haul transportation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Deliver freight to specified locations on time
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by DOT
Qualifications
- CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- 1-5 months of OTR driving experience (solo) is preferred but not mandatory
- Able to work independently and manage long hours on the road
- Possess strong communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers
