About the Role

U.S. Xpress is seeking experienced CDL-A company drivers for Over-the-Road (OTR) operations in dry van transport. Solo OTR drivers are expected to cover an average of 2,000 miles per week and earn a guaranteed weekly minimum pay of $1,400. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500, with the potential for higher earnings based on performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive dry van trucks across the U.S.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Maintain accurate logs and records
• Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license with appropriate endorsements
• 1-5 months of OTR driving experience preferred but not required
• Prior company driving experience is advantageous
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Avoidance of drug and alcohol use during working hours
