What This Role Involves

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Asda in the Filton area, you'll operate one of our delivery vehicles to transport groceries and household items to customers' homes. You'll be the face of Asda at the delivery point, representing our commitment to customer satisfaction through professionalism and reliability. Your work directly supports our community by ensuring customers receive their shopping conveniently and safely.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle safely and efficiently along assigned delivery routes in and around Filton
• Deliver customer orders with care, checking items for accuracy and condition before handing over
• Collect payments where applicable and provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Maintain basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow route planning and scheduling to meet delivery targets and customer expectations
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally, escalating issues appropriately
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and organisation throughout each working day

Who We're Looking For

• Possess a valid, full UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety and compliance with traffic regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical fitness to load, unload, and carry items safely
