Customer Care Representative

Join Ruggable as a Customer Care Representative in a fully remote, full-time position. We're hiring four team members to deliver exceptional support to our North America customers across phone, chat, and email channels.

As a Customer Care Representative, you're the voice of our brand—the trusted advisor our loyal customers turn to when they need support, guidance, or solutions. This remote position places you at the heart of a fast-paced, engaged team that genuinely cares about delivering excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email across our North America user base
• Process returns, exchanges, cancellations, and order status requests with care and accuracy
• Leverage your product knowledge to guide customers toward the right solutions and recommendations
• Act as a product expert, mastering our website, inventory, features, and full offerings
• Escalate complex issues to management with clear, concise context for faster resolution
• Support your teammates by sharing effective techniques and tools that drive team efficiency

Requirements

Essential skills and qualities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Genuine passion for helping others find solutions
• Ability to engage customers with high empathy and professionalism
• Quick thinking when summarizing and escalating issues
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel)
• Strong team player mentality
• Self-starter who handles multiple tasks simultaneously while staying detail-oriented and responsible

Preferred experience includes work in omnichannel consumer goods or e-commerce, familiarity with platforms like Shopify or Zendesk, and knowledge of e-commerce industry practices.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour starting salary for this 40-hour-per-week full-time role. We offer employer matching contributions up to 3% of base salary for our 401K plan.
