This CRNA position with Odyssey Locums is based in Herrin, Williamson County, in Southern Illinois, and supports anesthesia coverage across six facilities spread throughout the surrounding towns. The setting spans a Level 2 trauma hospital alongside a group of community hospitals and an ambulatory surgery center, giving you exposure to a varied, high-volume caseload from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care to patients across the six-facility regional network.
- Practice within a care-team model that includes both medical direction and autonomous components.
- Collaborate daily alongside a sizable anesthesia staff, including roughly 7 physicians and 29 CRNAs on a typical day.
- Adapt your clinical approach across diverse environments, from a Level 2 trauma hospital to community hospitals and an ASC.
- Maintain consistent, ongoing coverage as part of a full-time, long-term assignment.
Qualifications
- Active certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Current Illinois licensure, or eligibility to obtain it, for practice in Southern Illinois.
- Comfort working in both medically directed and autonomous practice models.
- Flexibility to provide anesthesia services at multiple facilities across the region.
- Availability to begin as soon as possible and commit to an ongoing schedule.
