About the Role

In this Corporate Counsel position within our Legal Shared Services function, you'll deliver proactive legal advice on a broad range of corporate matters. Working from our Stamford office, you'll partner with business leaders and operational teams to navigate legal challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance across multiple departments.

What You'll Do

• Advise business units and leadership on corporate legal issues, contract obligations, and regulatory requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor contracts, service arrangements, and business partnerships
• Assess legal risks and implement strategies to protect the organization's interests
• Provide guidance on corporate governance, employment law matters, and business disputes
• Support multiple departments through a shared services model, managing competing priorities and timelines effectively
• Maintain comprehensive legal documentation and ensure proper compliance record-keeping
• Partner with external counsel on specialized matters requiring outside expertise

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active license to practice law in the United States
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, in-house counsel roles, or corporate legal services
• Demonstrated expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and business law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain legal concepts to business stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, dynamic environment
• Sound professional judgment with commitment to ethical legal practice
• Prior experience in shared services legal environments is valued
